The above mentioned examples works, but the are not much effective like a pintrest with link or a tweet with a link. The same applies to a blog post without call to action and one with call to action.
An effective call to action removes confusion, making your blog reader to take the exact next step. This might be to sign up for an offer, go to a specific page or take a particular action on the page like e.g commenting on the present blog post.
Any blogger that really want to succeed have to make good use of call to action on their blog post.
In fact, call to action is one of the steps to writing a great blog post.

A call to action is an invitation for a consumer of a content (article, audio or video) to take a desired action. This what you normally see call to action in a persuasive at the end of article or video. Still don’t understand call to action, let’s use real life example.

Just like writing catchy headline, when writing call to action, you have to decide what you want to achieve for example:

- Do you want them to drop their opinion

A blog post with much comments ranks well in search engine result page because those comments indicate that the readers are engaging. Take for instance a post on a Facebook that has much comment and one without much comment, what do you think will happen to the one with much comment…
Facebook will show it to more people right? Same goes with blog post.
You can use initiation of comment as your call to action because it will make your readers to engage with your blog post and also help you rank higher.
